Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for making initial calls to vehicle owners and pick-up shops to obtain necessary vehicle information, location details, and charges for vehicle storage. This is a fast-paced role with an expectation to make calls per day. You will perform data entry tasks, gather basic information from customers, and follow specific client processes to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Make initial calls to vehicle owners and pick-up shops to collect vehicle information and location details.
• Coordinate with tow vendors and follow specific client processes.
• Perform data entry tasks and document information accurately.
• Maintain a high volume of calls, making between calls daily.

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center customer service role.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for copying and pasting tasks.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook.
• Reliable transportation as the office is not accessible without a vehicle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of cars is an asset.
• Prior experience in a tow truck or insurance company is beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience dealing with insurance companies.
• Bilingual skills in any language are a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment, with a workstation set up in the boardroom. The dress code is business casual, and the location is not accessible by public transit. You will report directly to a supervisor and work closely with a small team of five agents. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling a 40-hour workweek.
