Overview

Focused Industrial Group and Royal LePage Commercial is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Commercial Real Estate Associate to support senior brokers in the execution of leasing, investment sales, and advisory assignments across industrial, investment, and land assets. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in commercial real estate through hands-on transaction exposure, market analysis, and direct client interaction.

The Associate will play a key role in proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market outreach and research, while supporting the full transaction lifecycle. Responsibilities include underwriting opportunities, preparing marketing and offering materials, and assisting in deal execution from origination through closing. The role provides a strong platform for professional development, mentorship, and advancement toward a lead brokerage position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pursuing the prospecting tasks provided by team lead
  • Qualifying and engaging with potential clients over phone, email and in person
  • Scheduling appointments with qualified prospects
  • Maintaining a database of all interactions made
  • Providing general administrative support to team lead
  • Collecting supporting documentation for real estate transactions to complete the Deal Sheet, FINTRAC, all RECBC required documents for compliance purposes

Candidate Profile

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate brokerage and advisory
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and financially literate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Licensed or working toward a real estate license (as required in B.C.)
