The Senior Project Manager reports to the Director of Delivery at Sodales Solutions plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of projects and programs, particularly focusing on PMO tracking and optimization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing milestone tracking, continuous improvement initiatives, and providing support in project kick-offs and preparatory phases. Utilizing tools such as DevOps or similar tracking software, the Senior Project Manager will ensure efficient project delivery, adherence to timelines, and alignment with client expectations.

  1. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish comprehensive project plans, highlighting key milestones and deliverables.
  • Implement robust tracking mechanisms for project status, encompassing milestone deliverables and critical path items.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and innovation within project management methodologies, recommending better approaches and tracking mechanisms to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Handle client escalations and come up with a resolution action plan to be implemented by team
  • Drive change requests and get client agreement
  • Provide support in project kick-off activities, including defining Statements of Work (SOWs), and preparatory phases to ensure project readiness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture aligned with Sodales Solutions' values.
  • Working with delivery director in ensuring successful and seamless go lives.
  • Provide product demonstrations to high valued potential customers as required.
  • Learn and enhance all product modules.
  • Be directly accountable for self and reportee's project success.
  • Come up with a mechanism to accurately and timely report project milestones, status, risks and escalations
  • In case of escalations, handle them directly with the client and resolve them with management guidance and support
  • Must contribute to the sales teams for PM support during their scoping / RFP tasks.
  • Come up with KPIs for project managers to use on their reviews
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address any project-related issues or challenges, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented environment.
  • Conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in project management, integrating relevant insights into project delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and resource needs to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects or programs.
  • Proven expertise in project tracking and management methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as Jira or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address project risks and issues proactively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.
