Overview

We are now recruiting Ukulele teacher to join our group for winter camp and future cooperation. If you are passionate for music and enjoy working with young students and are committed to delivering high-quality music, we invite you to join dynamic team at Maven Music as a Ukulele Instructor.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured ukulele lessons
  • Prepare lesson plans for winter camp and upcoming course
  • Ensure students develop a strong foundation in music fundamentals
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with students and parents
  • Assist with student performances or recitals
  • Educate students using various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation
  • Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning

  • Strong time management skills
  • Patients and enjoy working with students of young ages and all background
  • Have a fun and confident personality

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Music or equivalent training
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience
  • Must be fluent in English and strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Energetic & eager to learn new things
  • Must be able to travel to after-school location
  • Having access to a vehicle is a plus, to travel to host locations and carry teaching materials
  • Knowledge or proficiency in additional instruments is a strong asset

Mandatory: Successful applicants are required to provide a Vulnerability Criminal Record Check.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
