We are currently accepting applications to support our recruitment team growth and our recruiting efforts for multiple projects with our clients across Canada.

This is an entry level position on our recruiting / talent acquisition team with a career pathway for the right person to grow into a Field Recruiter.

Position Details:

  • In-Office based position
  • Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, with an hour for lunch
  • Potential for on-call weekend shift (rotation basis) as business needs dictate
  • Generous Vacation, personal and sick day entitlements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and pre-screen resumes to identify qualified applicants based on established criteria.
  • Conduct telephone pre-screen interviews with candidates
  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates, gather information, and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Assist in sourcing and attracting candidates with various tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems, social platforms / networking, and internal databases
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the applicant tracking system, documenting all communications and candidate status updates.
  • Support recruitment team with presence at various recruitment related events
  • Support recruitment-related reporting, file management, and administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate and promote Morgan values and Pillars of Excellence in every candidate and team interaction.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration is an asset.
  • 1+ year of administrative, HR, or recruitment-related experience preferred.
  • Experience in construction, heavy civil, or a fast-paced industrial environment is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with applicant tracking systems is an asset.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach to candidate and internal interactions.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible attitude.
