We're looking for dedicated Care Aides/Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional, person-centered care for our female client in a warm home environment. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to support someone's independence, well-being, and quality of life.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support medication routines as directed
- Prepare and assist with meals and hydration
- Encourage and participate in meaningful activities based on the client's interests
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Provide mobility support with safety and dignity in mind
- Accurately document care activities and communicate any changes in the client's condition
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship
- Perform housekeeping as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Kind, patient, and respectful individuals who value person-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to take initiative and support with household tasks
- Experience working with people with disabilities (an asset but not required)
- Current or willingness to obtain Basic First Aid certification
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
- Must provide a clean drivers abstract (if driving individual)
- Applicants must already reside in the Armstrong area
