Duties

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with precision and artistry
  • Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing baked goods
  • Ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all aspects of food handling and kitchen operations
  • Assist in inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies efficiently
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry recipes and seasonal offerings
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining menu items and accommodating special requests when needed

Qualifications

  • Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
  • Skilled in baking techniques, knife skills, and culinary arts specific to pastries and confections
  • Experience in food handling, safety protocols, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment
  • Previous restaurant or catering experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
