As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:
- Assist in developing, testing, and documenting automation workflows for rent calculation within Yardi.
- Support data validation, entry, and reconciliation activities to ensure rent records are accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the operations team to streamline reporting and data extraction functions.
- Assist in the design and improvement of templates, dashboards, and analytics that support rental and lease administration.
- Work with Information Technology (IT) and Finance teams to identify opportunities for increased automation and improved data accuracy.
- Provide general administrative and technical support to ongoing projects within the department.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems, or Real Estate/Property Management with relevant IT coursework.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic proficiency in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Basic proficiency in Yardi Property Management Software, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps, and Microsoft Power BI or similar is an asset.
- Success in this position requires good communication and teamwork skills; a high attention to detail and accuracy; a willingness to learn and take initiative; and strong organizational skills.
- An interest in technology and process improvement.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
