Summary
Responsible for the recruitment and selection as well as the talent management of candidates for open positions for Execaire Aviation . The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing hiring plans to efficiently fill vacancies with internal and external talent using talent acquisition best practices. This includes, developing and maintaining contacts with college placement offices, business associations, agencies, military bases, the internet and social media, and community organizations including outreach within equity and designated groups to establish and maintain recruiting contacts, screening, interviewing, referencing, orientation, and making recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Perform job posting and recruitment activities for unionized, salaried (non-unionized), and management positions as assigned, such as requisition preparation, job posting, applicant tracking, screening, interview protocol development assistance, conduct interviews, selection, offer, hiring, and onboarding
- Assist in development and implementation of strategic recruitment and selection plan
- Manage and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding (HR portion)
- Co-ordinate, develop, and sustain communication with recruiting contacts
- Co-ordinate and participate in recruitment events and job fairs
- Administration of postings and update of recruitment reports
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality, equity, and integrity in all areas of responsibility
- Participate in IMP Recruitment collaborations and meetings
Requirements
- University degree in a related field to Human Resources
- Proven experience in recruitment/talent management (8+ years)
- Certified CRHA/CRHP an asset
- Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to act independently
- Keen ability to understand client needs in determining candidate potential
- Able to set priorities, multi-task, and work efficiently in a team environment responding and pivoting to competing priorities and timelines
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, social media platforms, and candidate sourcing
- Fluent Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
