Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you'll lead industrial and commercial construction projects through completion—managing budgets, timelines, and resources—while also preparing and reviewing cost estimates. For select projects, this role may serve as both Project Manager and Estimator, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, drawings, and technical specifications to determine scope, costs, and required materials.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates by gathering and evaluating data from suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution phases.
  • Collaborate with engineers, field teams, and clients to ensure project alignment and quality results.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Conduct field visits and site assessments to confirm project conditions and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of cost data, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and support the pre-construction and bid process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager and/or Estimator in industrial and commercial construction, manufacturing facilities, or similar sectors.
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and industrial project workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software - Accubid and Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CPM, or CPE are an asset but not required.
