Assay Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assay Technician to join our team in a full-time position. If you have experience in Acid digestion techniques, and proficiency with analytical instruments such as ICP-OES, AA, XRF, and fusions, we encourage you to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sample digestion.

• Operate and maintain analytical equipment including Agilent ICP-OES, Agilent Atomic Absorption (AA), and Malvern XRF.

• Conduct mineral analytics with precision and attention to detail.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth laboratory operations.

• Maintain safety standards and comply with laboratory protocols.

• Work in LIMS and company systems

• Asset to have experience in fire assay but not necessary

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in acid digestion techniques.

• Knowledge of mineral analytics and related laboratory processes.

• Familiarity with ICP-OES, AA, XRF, and fusion methods.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Fire assay is an asset but not required

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

• Employment Type: Full-time.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Acid Digestion: 1 year (required)
• Fire Assay: 1 year (preferred)
• ICP-OES: 1 year (preferred)
• AA (Atomic Abosorbtion): 1 year (preferred)
