Position Overview
Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Sales, the Sales Director will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and promoting Margarine Thibault's range of food products to expand market share across Ontario.
This individual will play a key role in executing the company's sales strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and representing the Margarine Thibault brand in the market.
Key responsibilities
· Manage and expand a portfolio of clients in Ontario
· Identify new business and market growth opportunities
· Attend industry related events to strengthen brand visibility
· Contribute to the planning and execution of sales and BD strategies
· Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Profile
· Postsecondary education (college or university) in a relevant field
· to 7 years of experience in sales and business development
· Experience in the following sectors considered an asset: food processing (bakeries, pastries)
· Strong understanding of Ontario's food distribution network
· Valid drivers license and no criminal records.
Core competencies
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Strong written and verbal competencies in English
· French notions are a plus
· Communication and negotiating abilities
· Highly result-driven and organized
· Ability to manage multiple projects and perform under pressure.
