Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Caregiver to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household managementOffer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and eventsAdminister personal care services in accordance with the care plan directivesEnsure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standardAssist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needsPerform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competencyObserve and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or OfficeImplement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.Available for 8 hours shift could be assigned mornings, afternoon or evenings 7 days a weekStrong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service.Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community carePhysically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reachReliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile considered as an assetAble to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector CheckBayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients.
