We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crude Oil Hauler to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The Crude Oil Hauler will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our oil transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers designed for crude oil transportation across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload crude oil using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs, including automotive repair tasks when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient route management.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on hazardous materials or crude oil transport.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting hazardous materials.
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to oil transportation and heavy machinery use.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs to ensure operational safety. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility in the oil transportation industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
