Snow Removal Crew Member

Overview

We're looking for dedicated Snow Removal Crew Members to join our landscape maintenance team. This role plays a vital part in keeping our community safe and accessible during the winter months by efficiently removing snow and ice from commercial properties.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Experience in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is an asset—but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for continued employment on our Landscape Team in the summer season.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow removal equipment including skid steers, truck plows, trailers, snow blowers, backpack blowers, shovels, and other tools to clear sidewalks and parking lots
  • Apply salt and sand to prevent ice buildup and ensure safe walking and driving conditions
  • Perform basic maintenance and servicing of snow removal equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of work
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements

  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on snowfall
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience

  • Prior experience in snow removal, landscaping, lawn care, or construction preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment is an asset
  • Experience operating skid steers or other machinery is beneficial but not required
