About IGV Housing
IGV Housing is delivering a better way to build—faster, more affordable, and far more resilient than traditional construction.
We believe secure housing changes lives. It strengthens families, stabilizes communities, and creates long-term opportunity. To address Canada's urgent housing shortage, we developed a patent-pending Hybrid Construction System, built a $70-million advanced manufacturing facility in Port Alberni, and assembled a world-class team to transform how homes are delivered.
From our Port Alberni facility, we can produce up to $3 million per day in fundable construction—bringing quality, affordability, and speed to projects at national scale. Our hybrid methodology combines precision off-site manufacturing with controlled on-site assembly, ensuring consistent accuracy, predictable outcomes, and repeatable quality across every project.
This system is engineered for speed, precision, and cost discipline, enabled by a high-tech automated manufacturing facility and a team integrating AI, design, engineering, and delivery. Together, we build homes up to 50% faster and at significantly lower cost—without compromising quality, performance, or scale. Our patent-pending Hybrid Construction System—SmartCore, Volumetric Panel System, and the PrecisionBuilt 360° Kit of Parts—is the foundation. IGV's true strength is the system behind it: an AI-enabled, end-to-end platform that reworks the entire housing cycle from land to livability, enabling faster delivery, lower costs, and scalable national impact.
Our mission is clear: drive down the cost of construction, accelerate delivery, and expand access to homeownership across Canada. Secure housing creates stability, strengthens families, and unlocks generational opportunity. That purpose guides everything we do.
