Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services necessary for our operations. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with various departments to optimize purchasing strategies and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition through delivery, ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels using MRP systems.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with procured goods and services.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze data related to pricing, market trends, and supplier performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
