This is a Permanent Full time position. Monday to Friday, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Purchasing/securing materials for jobsites and warehouse
  • Scheduling/dispatching Drivers and coordinating deliveries
  • Negotiating pricing, Reconciling invoices – ensuring pricing/quantities are correct and sending invoices for further approval
  • Ensuring daily crew hours are entered for the purposes of payroll
  • Working with Superintendents to address material requirements
  • Working in liaison with the Superintendents and the Operations/Fleet /Equipment Manager to schedule material and equipment shipments, deliveries and loading
  • Communicating with architects, engineers, consultants, building operators, building owners, property managers, as necessary
  • Booking hotels, flights and rental cars as required
  • Liaising with service department and AARS projects as required
  • Managing and dealing with job site crisis, emergencies and/or unforeseen issues as necessary
  • Liaising, coordinating and communicating with subcontractors (gravel removal, cranes, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etcetera) for proposed and/or actual work on site
  • Preparing and tracking all paper work (inspection reports, deficiency reports, change orders, etcetera) relative to individual jobs and dispense to management
  • Updating/uploading information on company operating systems
  • Assisting in pre-project hazard assessment, set-up, pre-load, mobilization, production and demobilization
  • Taking part in company training
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be fluent in English and French
  • High school diploma a must. College degree a plus
  • 3-4 years construction purchasing
  • Good understanding of roofing materials
  • Proficient is Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy;
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with high level of integrity;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
  • Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment (frequent interaction with internal departments and operations);
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Dependability and exceptional attendance is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
