Description

Under the supervision of the Manager or designate, performs a variety of heavy cleaning duties, such as wet mopping, waxing and polishing floors, washing walls, windows and ceilings. Collects and disposes of waste materials, collects soiled laundry. Performs laundry duties, using a non-domestic washer and dryer, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And Experience

Grade 10 plus one year recent related experience in a commercial or industrial laundry or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to organize work.
