Internship dates: April 20-May 22, 2026 (Tentative 5 week)
What will your day to day will look like:
Specifically, you will:
Work within a highly specialized team to establish and achieve high expectations, goals and daily targets.
Manage multiple tasks at various levels of completion, using the best use of time and resources to complete work.
Use specialized equipment, related software and systems such as, but not limited to, robotics, tooling, and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) grinding, milling, and EDM.
Set up, monitor and troubleshoot automated manufacturing center equipment.
Facilitate continuous improvement by using tools such as Kaizen events.
Keep current with job requirements, products, computer technology (e.g. MS Office products), and company policies.
What you need to be successful:
Must haves:
Be eligible to work in Canada;
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired
Independent, self-motivated, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated understanding of Cad packages would be an asset
Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment
Strong Project Management Skills
Commitment to EH&S, Production and Quality objectives
Commitment to the application of new technologies, closed door and lean manufacturing principle.
