Riverdale School of Music is a newly launched music school in the heart of Riverdale, Toronto We're a creative, family-oriented space where kids are encouraged to explore music in a way that's fun, playful, and meaningful. Founded by a lifelong musician and educator, our mission is to make music lessons something every child looks forward to each week.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for passionate, bubbly, and energetic music teachers who specialize in piano, guitar and violin. If you love working with children and know how to turn lessons into a joyful, engaging experience- we want to hear from you

This role is perfect for someone who knows how to connect with kids, can balance structure with fun, and believes in teaching through encouragement and creativity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Teach private lessons in your instrument specialty
  • Create fun, personalized lesson plans that inspire students and keep them motivated
  • Build warm and positive relationships with students and families
  • Maintain clear communication with the team and parents
  • Help foster a supportive, inclusive, and upbeat studio culture

You're a Great Fit If You:

  • Are an experienced teacher in piano, guitar and violin
  • Truly enjoy working with children and know how to make learning fun
  • Are creative, encouraging, and flexible in your teaching style
  • Are organized, reliable, and a strong communicator
  • Have training in music education, performance, or pedagogy

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM)
  • Can teach more than one instrument

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
