Grounded Minds is an established private practice that offers virtual counselling to individual adults across Ontario. We specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic disorder and phobias) and trauma/PTSD.

Job Description

We are looking to add a part-time associate therapist (independent contractor) to our team. This position is 100% remote. Requirements:

-Masters degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology

-Member in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO

-Experience offering psychotherapy to individuals with anxiety disorders, OCD and trauma

-MUST have experience working with OCD and training in Exposure and Response Prevention and/or Inference-Based CBT as a large portion of our referrals are for OCD work

-Training and experience in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, CPT, EMDR, SE, and ACT

-Priority given to therapists who are trained in ERP or I-CBT for OCD and CPT, EMDR, PE or a somatic modality for trauma/PTSD

-Proof of professional liability insurance

-Ability to work from home (eg. private home office and solid internet connection)

-Can commit to 5-10 hours/week of availability

Expectations:

-Provide virtual psychotherapy to individual adults presenting with a range of concerns including anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship issues and trauma

-Work remotely and independently

-Management of your schedule and client payments

-Ability to maintain client files and documentation
