Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to work efficiently on various projects including restoration, renovation, and new construction. This role requires hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading to ensure high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces. The Concrete Finisher will play a vital role in delivering durable and aesthetically pleasing concrete structures across diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and trowels to achieve smooth, level finishes according to project specifications.
  • Install rebar and formwork as per schematics and blueprints to prepare for pouring concrete.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning forms or materials.
  • Assist with concrete pouring, screeding, floating, edging, and curing processes to ensure quality results.
  • Conduct maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment used on-site.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of heavy lifting tasks and use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction trades.
  • Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics reading.
  • Skills in rebar installation, concrete forming, caulking, welding, flooring installation, and restoration are highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices.
  • Experience with renovation projects or working with various building materials is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction settings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while developing your skills across multiple trades within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
