Nova Paving (Sask) Ltd. is a well-established heavy civil construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are expanding – and looking for experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

In 2026 we will have several new positions available. If you have an established crew of experienced individuals, we want to hear from you We are offering relocation assistance and temporary housing for people who do not currently live in Regina.

Concrete Finishers reports to the Concrete Foreman, this position is responsible for performing a large variety of construction related tasks involving concrete. Ensuring that work is completed to specifications and consistent with company quality standards. Our company operates from May to November each year and we are hiring now to be ready for the 2026 season

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of previous experience as a Concrete Finisher.

  • Valid drivers license & reliable transportation.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Able to work as a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in concrete finishing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
  • Experience working on water mains, driveways, sidewalks/curbs, and road/bridges will be considered an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and restore various curbs, sidewalks, etc.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged concrete.
  • Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
  • Finish surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
  • Monitor and control the curing process to ensure proper hardening of the concrete.
  • Apply sealants and curing compounds to protect the finished surfaces.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Other duties as required.
