Mitigating Risk to Drive Success at Home

As an Enterprise Risk Management Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing enhancement and oversight of Home's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. You will play a critical role in ensuring a strong risk culture at Home and will be a key risk partner to the business and Home Homeware's stakeholders. Led by the Director, Enterprise Risk Management, this opportunity will best suit someone who has experience with risk management techniques as well as strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Uphold the mandate of the ERM team as a valued, collaborative, and integral risk governance partner.
• Prepare quarterly risk reporting to senior management and the Audit & Risk Management Committee, outlining the status of key risks, significant changes, and the status of outstanding action plans.
• Drive the implementation and ongoing improvement of ERM Program, facilitating its integration throughout the organization.
• Create and facilitate risk training workshops and programs for all levels of the organization.
• Lead the selection and oversight of corporate insurance coverages, in collaboration with insurance brokers and Management, to align with risk appetite.
• Support Home's crisis management program, ensuring that critical business plans are consistent and align with crisis management objectives, while providing subject-matter expertise to key business partners.
• Continuously improve processes and risk reporting to support the business in identifying, measuring, monitoring enterprise risks, in alignment with risk appetite.
• Serve as risk management subject-matter expert, stay current on industry trends and emerging enterprise risks, and foster a collaborative culture of risk awareness.

We're looking for:

• University degree in Finance, Business or related field with a minimum of five years of practical experience in risk and control governance roles, including risk assessment and control testing functions.
• CRM, CPA, or CIA designation.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain cooperative and effective working relationships with all levels of management.
• In-depth knowledge of risk standards and practices (e.g. COSO, ISO
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish credibility to positively impact business performance.
• The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

• The expected starting salary range for this role is $82,600 - $123,900; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
