Montréal QC HV A, Canada Latitude Management Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

About Latitude Management

Latitude Management is a professional services firm specializing in workplace investigations into potential cases of harassment and discrimination. We also offer services in workplace climate restoration, mediation, training, and professional coaching.

At Latitude, we believe in fostering respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces—for our clients, and within our own team. As our firm continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a passionate HR professional who is motivated by purpose, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to helping people succeed.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, people-focused HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for employees and managers, helping ensure that HR processes run smoothly while also contributing to larger projects that shape the employee experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact: you'll have your hands in everything from recruitment and onboarding to benefits administration, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. You'll be part of a collaborative team where your ideas will be valued, and your work will directly contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

As HR Advisor, you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Manage the day-to-day HR operations with precision and care.
  • Draft employment letters, job offers, and other HR documentation.
  • Oversee group benefits and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data in our HRIS and assist with payroll coordination.
  • Support the administration of the group RRSP plan.
  • Lead our onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Post job openings, pre-screen candidates, and assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Draft and update HR policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Support managers through the performance management cycle.
  • Collaborate on HR projects and strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement.
  • Partner with the social committee to plan events such as our summer retreat and holiday party.
  • Participate in committees such as SST, EDIA, and ESG.
  • Distribute employee satisfaction and engagement surveys, and help turn feedback into action.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation in Quebec.
  • Technical skills: Experience with and HRIS (ADP), payroll, and group benefits.
  • Personal qualities: Excellent communication skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and professional. You enjoy working with people and are energized by supporting a team in a dynamic environment.

Why Join Latitude?

  • Be part of a firm that is mission-driven and dedicated to improving workplaces.
  • Work in a growing organization where your contributions will be visible and valued.
  • Join a team that cares about collaboration, respect, and employee well-being.
  • Take part in projects that matter—from building inclusive policies to strengthening engagement initiatives.

Latitude celebrates diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
