Key Objectives
As an AI Engineer, you'll be working with a global team of AI and machine learning practitioners, software engineers, and business and solution architects to implement state of the art - AI enabled digital solutions to transform the P&C insurance globally. This position offers the opportunity to develop, deploy, and optimize high quality Generative AI based capabilities that power unique solutions within Chubb.

Major Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of AI engineers to design and implement innovative solutions that utilize LLMs and Generative AI techniques to address intricate business challenges, majorly leveraging cloud technology like Azure and Google Cloud Services.
• Explore and apply cutting-edge Generative AI methodologies, including prompt engineering, agents, model adaptation, and deployment strategies, to enhance the effectiveness of AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that aligns with business objectives, adheres to quality standards, and follows established development guidelines.
• Develop reusable workflows, processes, and tools to optimize the integration of LLMs and Generative AI into various applications and projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining project timelines and ensuring continuous progress.

Qualifications

• Must have:

• 2 - 5 years' experience in AI Engineering and/or Machine Learning (ML) with a focus on leveraging Generative AI, with deep expertise in writing, and reviewing production code in Python.

• A strong foundation in Python and a software engineering are essential for building robust, scalable, and high-quality AI Solutions.
• Proficiency in Korean is required.
• Multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). This includes crisply talking about technical solutions while being able to collaborate with business architects effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI frameworks and libraries (such as tensorflow, pytorch, langchain, etc.), and exposure to various ML techniques and their practical implementation in production at large scale.
• Experience with designing scalable end-to-end Machine Learning/Generative AI systems.
• Demonstrated experience with RAG pipelines, semantic search, and related AI retrieval techniques.
• Experience on distributed, high throughput and low latency architectures.
• Understanding of NLP techniques around text cleaning/pre-processing, entity extraction, encoder-decoder architectures, similarity matching etc.
• Experience building software on top of containerization technology (Kubernetes, Docker etc.), and familiarity with frameworks/tools such as FastAPI, Uvicorn

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins

• Nice to have:

• Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs is a huge plus

• Familiarity with end-to-end application development using full stack is a plus.
• Experience in P&C insurance is a plus.
• Proficiency in other Asian or European languages is a bonus.
