Arteria is headquartered in Toronto, with operations in New York and London.

About the Role

Arteria AI is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our feature application teams responsible for building and delivering the core functionality of our enterprise platform. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery accountability. You'll guide a team of talented engineers, working closely with Product and Design to build secure, scalable, and high-quality software that drives measurable impact for our customers.

What You'll Do

Lead and grow your team: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering an environment of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Drive delivery and execution: Ensure your team meets its commitments, delivers high-quality features on time, and maintains a strong focus on customer value.

Provide technical direction: Contribute to architectural discussions, review designs and code, and help your team make sound technical decisions aligned with Arteria's platform strategy.

Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and SDETs to clarify requirements, manage scope, and ensure a seamless delivery process.

Balance speed and stability: Champion best practices in testing, code review, and CI/CD while keeping delivery momentum high.

Support customer needs: Engage with internal stakeholders and, when needed, customer teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful outcomes for customer-driven features.

Hire and onboard engineers: Partner with the Director of Engineering and People team to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.

Promote a healthy engineering culture: Build a team where individuals are supported, challenged, and proud of their work.

Your Qualifications

Proven experience managing or leading software engineering teams in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

Strong technical background with the ability to contribute to discussions on architecture, design, and implementation.

Demonstrated success in delivering complex features or products from concept through to release.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to align teams around shared goals and partner effectively with Product and Design.

Experience with modern software development practices (e.g., CI/CD, automated testing, feature flagging, iterative delivery).

A focus on building sustainable teams and scalable engineering processes.

Comfort operating in a customer-driven environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Why Join Arteria

Arteria AI is transforming how financial institutions manage and generate their most critical documents through our enterprise SaaS platform. As an Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how we deliver software — from the quality of our releases to the growth of our engineers. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with a team that values impact, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
