In a team environment, the successful applicant will work closely with the Site Superintendent to execute efficient installation plans for commercial, multi-family and residential sites. While applying their extensive knowledge of metal cladding and siding installation of all types including, fiber cement, manufactured panel, aluminum, vinyl, and wood, the successful applicant will:

  • Prioritize safety and demonstrate high integrity to clients and team members
  • Understand blueprint readings in order to prepare layouts, which includes selecting materials, arranging sequences and methods of work, measuring, and marking materials
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Inspect job sites and conduct repairs or maintenance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years recent carpentry, cladding or siding installation experience with working knowledge of BC building codes.
  • A valid BC Class 5 Drivers' License.
  • Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform, WHMIS is considered an asset.
  • Occupational First Aid is considered an asset.
  • Willing to travel within BC as the job requires.
