Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Microsoft Excel - Expert level Training Instructor to deliver comprehensive training sessions to learners at various skill levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, and experience in educational settings, including university environments. This role involves designing curriculum, facilitating interactive lessons, and supporting learners in developing practical Excel skills for professional and academic purposes. The position offers an opportunity to empower individuals with valuable technical competencies in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on Microsoft Excel, tailored to different skill levels from beginner to advanced in a corporate setting.
  • Create instructional materials, including presentations, handouts, and exercises that enhance learning outcomes.
  • Assess learners' progress through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Stay current with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Excel to ensure training content remains relevant and accurate.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions or corporate clients to customize training programs that meet specific organizational needs.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating learning atmosphere that encourages active participation and confidence building among learners.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools.
  • Prior experience in teaching or training for atleast 3 years, preferably within a university, academic and corporate setting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to design engaging instructional materials and adapt teaching strategies for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; university experience is highly desirable.
  • Passion for education and helping others develop valuable technical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple training sessions and coordinate schedules efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals committed to education excellence who enjoy empowering others through technology training in a professional setting.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 weeks

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB
