Vanrook Electric is a team of highly motivated professional electricians specializing in a wide range of commercial electrical work. We are looking for someone who is able to both lead a team and manage a project, someone who is excited and wanting to progress in their career.

Duties:

- Estimate project costs, assemble quantity take-offs and develop quotation submissions

  • Prepare requests for quotations, obtain competitive pricing from suppliers, subs contractors, etc.

  • Draft proposals and submit tenders – meeting specialized requirements as needed

  • Proof-read estimates for completeness and compliance with scope and specifications

  • Foster long-term customer relationships through professionalism and respect

Requirements:

- Drivers License

- Demonstrate understanding of industry practices, electrical tendering processes and Bid Depository regulations

  • Have experience estimating commercial projects (minimum 5 years)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
