Ce poste de vente est responsable de conclure des opportunités d'accroissement de la pénétration des catégories au sein du district et de développer de nouvelles affaires dans la catégorie des protéines, avec l'objectif d'atteindre les cibles d'affaires assignées tout en rehaussant l'expérience client. Responsabilités:
- Élaborer et exécuter des stratégies de vente ciblées par catégorie afin d'atteindre les objectifs d'affaires annuels du district et individuels, en générant une croissance rentable des ventes et de la pénétration à travers les catégories, les segments spécialisés et la marque Sysco.
- Proposer aux clients des solutions issues de notre assortiment défini par catégorie, en priorisant la marque Sysco/Sourced ainsi que les offres pertinentes des sociétés spécialisées de Sysco.
- Exploiter l'analytique des données pour prioriser les opportunités par catégorie.
- Rechercher, qualifier et traiter activement les principales opportunités de pénétration.
- Se tenir informé(e) des conditions du marché, des innovations produits et des produits, prix et pratiques des concurrents; partager ces informations avec les clients dans le cadre de services à valeur ajoutée.
- Suivre les activités et les résultats, collaborer sur les opportunités et promouvoir la vente en équipe au moyen de Salesforce (l'outil CRM de Sysco).
- Mettre à profit l'échantillonnage dans une approche orientée solutions pour conclure des ventes.
- Fournir une rétroaction aux sociétés spécialisées et à l'équipe de marchandisage concernant la qualité et l'intégrité des produits, l'assortiment, la satisfaction de la clientèle, la valeur perçue et la concurrence.
- Développer et maintenir des relations avec les clients, les chefs et les membres des équipes de Sysco.
- Soutenir l'exécution des stratégies de vente prioritaires par la vente directe et l'engagement des clients et prospects lors d'événements Sysco (p. ex., salons alimentaires, événements sectoriels).
- Assurer le suivi de toutes les communications et des engagements découlant des rencontres clients.
- Mener à terme l'ensemble des opportunités « 360 » de la catégorie conformément au taux de conclusion (« closed won ») fixé.
- Se conformer à la Politique de salubrité alimentaire de Sysco et à ses procédures afin de satisfaire aux exigences en matière d'innocuité, de qualité et de légalité des aliments.
- Travailler de manière sécuritaire en minimisant l'impact environnemental et signaler immédiatement à son superviseur tout danger, incident ou déversement environnemental.
- Comprendre son rôle essentiel dans sa propre sécurité et celle de ses collègues et intervenir lorsqu'un danger est présent.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.
Qualifications:
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle en ventes ou en marketing.
- Diplôme d'études postsecondaires ou expérience équivalente; la désignation CPSA (ACPV) est un atout.
- Sens des affaires et compréhension des opérations de restauration pour gérer une clientèle exigeante.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellentes aptitudes de communication orale et écrite.
- Sens exceptionnel du service à la clientèle, avec capacité à établir une relation de confiance avec les clients internes et externes.

Role:
This professional sales position is responsible for closing district category penetration opportunities and growing new business within the produce category, with the expectation of achieving assigned business goals while enhancing the customer experience. This will be accomplished through maintaining industry and category specific certification status and direct selling of categories to customers. Specialists will prioritize time, targets, and team selling efforts based on market insights and data analytics.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted category sales strategies to achieve district and individual annual business goals, delivering profitable sales growth and penetration across categories, specialty segments, and Sysco brand
- Provide customer solutions from within our defined category assortment with the emphasis on prioritizing Sysco brand/Sourced along with relevant Sysco specialty company offerings
- Utilize data analytics to prioritize category opportunities
- Actively seek, qualify, and action top penetration opportunities
- Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided
- Track activities and results, collaborate on opportunities, and champion the team selling process through use of Salesforce (Sysco's CRM tool)
- Leverage sampling in a solutions-oriented manner to close sales
- Provide feedback to specialty companies and merchandising on product quality, product integrity, product mix, customer satisfaction, perceived value and competition
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, chefs and Sysco team members
- Support execution of prioritized sales strategies through direct selling and engagement of customers and prospects at Sysco events (e.g. food shows, industry events)
- Follow-up on all communications and commitments resulting from customer meetings
- Execute all 360 category opportunities to the specified closed won ratio
- Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Sales or Marketing role.
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience, CPSA designation is preferred.
- Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to gain rapport with internal and external customers.
- Proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successful.
