Looking for an experienced cook and/or chef who's interested in joining our team Ortona offers a fun and busy atmosphere, in the heart of up and coming Walkerville. Hours are flexible and benefits are available.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes

- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies

Experience:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology

- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Skills:

- Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal presentation

- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety regulations

- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently

- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant setting

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
