Content and Communications Lead
in the
Financial Services

a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
Overview We are looking for a Content and Communications Lead to support a large Canadian financial institution's Wealth and Digital Investing teams. This role plays a key part in shaping clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications across several programs and business workstreams. The ideal candidate is a polished communicator who can bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans that support project updates, change initiatives, and leadership messaging
  • Translate complex technical and business information into clear and accessible content for diverse internal audiences
  • Create polished materials including presentations, newsletters, announcements, talking points, and stakeholder updates
  • Maintain alignment and consistency of messaging across teams and communication channels
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to understand needs and provide proactive communication support
  • Ensure all content reflects brand standards, tone, and organizational expectations

Must Have

  • Strong internal communications experience within large or complex organizations
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into clear, structured messaging
  • Experience supporting change initiatives, program communications, or enterprise-level project updates
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner with senior leaders

Additional Consideration Given To

  • Experience in financial services or digital/technology environments
  • Knowledge of communication planning, content calendars, and multi-channel engagement
