Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Kitchen Line Cook. This role is a lead position working with part time line cooks. The lead role ensures proper prep, portions and cleanliness of the work area and assists in seasonal offerings and menu development in collaboration with team and owners.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Serve food to customers with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Handle food items appropriately, following proper storage and handling procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with guests during their dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
