Hartrans Cartage Services is a local Peterborough-based trucking company, offering local LTL final mile services as well as TL service, and dedicated courier and flatbed/Moffat services to other carriers and local shippers.

We are currently looking for a professional, hard-working, customer-service focused DZ licenced straight-truck driver or broker, to do local LTL peddle runs in the greater Peterborough area (within 160 km of our terminal). Runs are local day shift, so you will be home every evening.

Drivers are paid on an hourly basis and participate in a group benefit plan. Brokers are paid on percentage of revenue and benefit from a fuel price cap.

This is a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be professional and courteous; be able to move freight by hand up to 75 lbs or using a pallet jack for heavier freight; be detail oriented; able to read and speak English; able to solve problems logically as they arise; and work in cooperation with the rest of the team.

Letters from prior employers verifying a minimum of 3-years straight truck experience and claims experience are required and will be requested.
