Overview

We are seeking an experienced Currier Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages between distribution centers, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a professional with a strong driving record, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages between various locations
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines
• Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including inventory management and package sorting

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or late evenings if required
• Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment

This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive their packages on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. You must have commercial driving experience driving a cube van or a 5 ton truck.
