Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to take job duties. You will assist our professional groomer In different roles in the Grooming trade which include bathing, haircutting, nails, and all of above. Responsibilities

  • Perform grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
  • Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
  • Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitizing tools and equipment.
  • Build strong relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service, providing advice on pet care and grooming needs.
  • Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
  • Assist in lifting larger or heavier pets as needed, demonstrating strength and care in handling them.

Experience

  • Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate with a passion for animals.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets or equipment is necessary.
  • A certification in pet grooming or related field is a plus but not mandatory. Join our team and help us provide top-notch grooming services that keep our furry safe

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
