Manager, Retail Marketing
Working in the dynamic environment of Four Seasons global headquarters, the Manager, Retail Marketing will be an integral member of the broader Marketing team for one of the world's leading luxury hospitality brands. This role will have specific oversight over Retail marketing, promoting both Four Seasons Online Retail ), including paid, owned and earned channels, as well as promoting brand-led retail programs on property through marketing tools and collateral.
This key position is accountable for setting and executing high performing marketing strategies that drive revenue and equity for the Retail business. This performance marketing role includes developing innovative ways to engage the customer, while ensuring our Retail marketing aligns with the brand expression of Four Seasons.
Data driven, performance-focused, and strategic, this individual will lead all aspects of the Retail marketing efforts, including but not limited to, marketing strategies, CRM, content management, creative briefings, digital and performance marketing, while strongly collaborating with internal centers of excellence, the Retail business team, and agency partners.
In order to be successful in this role, the Manager, Retail Marketing requires a strategic mindset, an analytical drive, and a strong understanding of marketing principles. This individual must have a passion for retail, a proven track record of achieving performance goals, and a collaborative approach to partnering with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
Marketing Strategy
- Develop innovative retail marketing strategies that align to the brand expression of Four Seasons and bring to life the positioning of the Retail business.
- Create and execute a multi-year marketing plan across all marketing channels, including a cohesive approach across paid, owned, and earned marketing.
- Seek out holistic marketing opportunities that strengthen awareness of the Retail business.
- Explore and evaluate new marketing channels, including emerging channels.
- Work with the broader Retail team to define customer acquisition and retention goals.
Marketing Execution
- Lead the overall marketing calendar development and execution of all tactics, with support of cross-functional COES, including but not limited to CRM, paid media, PR, Social Media, and creative and content development.
- Lead development of integrated campaign briefs, creative briefs and media briefs.
- Lead development of seasonal campaigns, managing stakeholder reviews and overall asset management (including rights and usage).
- Conduct analysis on competitive and industry marketing campaigns and approaches.
- Leverage performance insights to drive marketing recommendations.
- Lead the marketing budget, including invoice tracking, invoice submission.
Performance Measurement
- Develop performance reports with insights and action plans based on marketing initiatives, leveraging Adobe Analytics and Shopify.
- Adhere to the Retail marketing budget as defined by overall company objectives.
Cross-Functional and Agency Collaboration
- Partner closely with cross-functional SMEs such as Brand Strategy, Creative, CRM/Email, PR, Social Media, Paid Media, and the Retail business team.
- Manage and collaborate with marketing agency partners to drive optimal output.
- Collaborate with our digital team for best practices, test and learns, and any applicable Retail integrations into the website, as it pertains to marketing initiatives.
What You Bring:
- College or University degree, preferably in a business or marketing program. MBA an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a consumer marketing role. Experience with luxury / global retail brands an asset. Ecommerce experience preferred.
- Strong marketing and business acumen, focused on driving performance.
- Forward thinking with an eye on innovative strategies to acquire new consumers, while being financially astute from a budget management perspective.
- Digitally savvy, with experience in acquisition through various digital and social channels.
- Strong communication and elevated presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, leading and prioritizing tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Shopify.
- Strong skills in a PC and Mac environment including: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign an asset.
Adept at learning new applications.

- Excellent project management skills - Able to implement and lead a plan, while staying committed to deadlines.
- Ability to think critically and evaluate best possible solutions and procedures.
- Able to work independently, solve problems, take initiative and use good judgment.
- Well-organized, able to set priorities and be detail-oriented.
- Experience influencing key stakeholders and making strategic recommendations grounded in business objectives.
Annual Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 CAD
This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
