Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software to support the financial health of our organization.

Duties

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in auditing processes as required.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Support budgeting processes by providing insights into financial performance and forecasts.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft for efficient record-keeping.
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance financial reporting processes and improve overall efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and practices.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, and payroll management.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and budgeting effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
