Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various delivery routes efficiently. This role involves operating a box truck, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet customer needs promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading as necessary.
  • Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving and operating box trucks is essential.
  • Experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
  • Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills is beneficial.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
