Job Summary

We are seeking a bilingual (English & French speaking) detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining effective communication with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in transportation management systems to optimize supply chain operations.

Duties

  • Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and track shipments efficiently.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding their routes, schedules, and any necessary changes.
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to freight movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Analyze shipping data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls professionally and effectively.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to coordinate freight services.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during dispatch operations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in transportation management systems & Excel
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and freight logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in shipping & receiving operations is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization.
  • Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
