We're Hiring Sales Associate (Part-time, Weekend)

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting shoppers with their needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging customers, demonstrating product features, and ensuring an organized and inviting shopping environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about retail sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for merchandise.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts.
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote featured products.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
  • Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies.
  • Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting environment for shoppers.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience (1+ year)
  • Fluent in English, sufficient to complete training smoothly.
  • Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
  • Comfortable with constant movement in and around all areas of the store
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work on weekend
  • Must hold a valid Canadian visa or Canadian passport that allows you to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skills in darning, embroidery, or other handcrafts
  • Proficiency in all four Japanese language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
