Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the restoration industry while making a positive impact on clients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of affected areas using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for restoration
  • Assist with construction tasks such as demolition, drywall installation, and minor repairs
  • Operate specialized restoration equipment to dry out structures and prevent mold growth
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment during all phases of restoration projects
  • Document work progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use

Skills

  • Experience with cleaning procedures and techniques preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous
  • Familiarity with restoration processes including water extraction, mold remediation, or fire damage repair is a plus
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and responsibly
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Restoration: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Water Certification (preferred)
  • FSR Certification (preferred)
  • IICRC Certification (preferred)
