Pan Pacific Whistler is seeking a Night Auditor. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in the delivery of outstanding customer service and has a meticulous eye for detail. Position Summary
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Night Auditor is a key member of the Front Office team responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce a variety of reports for other departments and supports the Front Office Manager with the Night Audit function. Ensure reports are effective, timely and accurate.
- Complete audit of guest transactions
- Reservation support which includes, entering of reservations, confirmation of extranets, and processing telephone and walk-in reservations.
- Provide arrival experience services, including greeting, luggage and ski storage, check-in, bell services, shuttle service, car valet and concierge duties.
- Complete security checks and do routine hourly inspections to ensure hotel is safe and secure for all guests.
- Provide in-house services, including cashiering and foreign exchange, bell, valet and concierge and housekeeping.
- Provide departure services including luggage pick-up and storage, check-out services and offering assistance as needed.
- Guest communication including responding to guest emails.
- Provide accurate and timely information about events and services available to guests.
- Promote food and beverage and retail partners.
- Maintain an organized system of current written information about all local events and services offered by approved suppliers and service providers.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Front Office or Duty Managers.
- Possess a passion for customer service. Be quick to smile and engage in conversation.
- Impeccable grooming standards.
- Ability to work unsupervised and make quick sound decisions when required.
- Help support and drive the company's membership reward program.
- Look for opportunities to recognize our guests, driving our guests satisfaction scores and helping to create great guest memories of their time with Pan Pacific Whistler.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of computers and a variety of programs
Preferred:
- Diploma or Degree in hotel management an asset
- Second language an asset
- Experience using the Property Management System, Opera.
- In-depth knowledge of Whistler, the surrounding areas and of local tourist products and services

Shared staff housing is also be available.
