Warehouse Associate-Shipper/Receiver

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation and process outgoing shipments.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment accurately and on time.
  • Inventory Management: Track, update, and maintain accurate inventory records; report discrepancies.
  • Documentation & Labeling: Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and ensure proper labeling of all shipments.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area to maximize efficiency.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety guidelines and report hazards or incidents to management.
  • Assembly Experience: Basic assembly experience is considered an asset.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as required to support company operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Furniture Assembling experience preferred but not required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training can be provided).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
