RAPS is Seeking a Part time Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Autism (E31)

Location: South Edmonton (Ellerslie)

Days: 3-4 days between (Monday and Saturday) * Flexible with the days

Hours: 3pm-8pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Support on outings including client transportation, encouragement of personal care/hygiene, active participation of activities in the community (swimming, basketball etc.), development of independent living skills (grocery shopping, money management, schoolwork), balanced meal preparation, medication administration, light housekeeping, laundry, supervision, and companionship. This role will also provide management of clients homework schedule.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, a valid driver's license and vehicle for client transportation, a support worker certificate and 6months- 1 year support work experience. First aid/ CPR and medication administration certificate considered an asset. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, have good hygiene and can be tidy.

Rate of Pay: $21 per hour
