We are seeking a dedicated and caring Veterinary Technician to join our team. What You'll Do:

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and dental procedures
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under veterinary guidance
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide attentive post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and manage patient admissions/discharges
  • Educate pet owners about preventive care, nutrition, and at-home health
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization and kennel care
  • Assist with inventory management and clinic supply orders as needed
  • Occasionally support front desk duties such as answering phone calls

What We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent experience in Canada
  • Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in Canada
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to handle animals with care and confidence
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment and multitask effectively
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work Saturdays is required
