Description:
The QA Supervisor assures continued efficiency and performance of the quality assurance audit
program in accordance with regulatory requirements, including TCCA/ FAA/ EASA/ UK CAA.
The QA Supervisor will lead a team of QA Auditors and Records Management Technicians
ensuring quality service is provided, and both short- and long-term objectives are achieved.
What you will be responsible for:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled internal audits, complete written reports/
investigations, upload records and coordinate implementation of rectification action
plans.
- Ensure events reported in APRISe are audited, verified and actions are taken in a timely
matter.
- Follow corrective action plans and verify effectiveness in accordance with the Quality
Assurance program described in the company Maintenance Policy Manual
- Assist inspectors with technical or regulatory issues
- Lead the team by clearly communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and
appraising job results; coaching, counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and
ensuring systems, policies, and procedures are effective.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing
personal growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer representatives and other stakeholders.
- Actively participate in AAR Aircraft Services Windsor's Safety Management System
(SMS) including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations;
understand and promote the company safety policy.

What you will need to be successful in this role:
- College Diploma
- AME M2 Licence
- Formal Quality Assurance lead auditor credential (IOSA) preferred
- 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience
- MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) - Intermediate skill level required
- Understanding of regulations, policies and procedures relating to airworthiness and
safety
- Supervisory experience within an aircraft maintenance environment
