Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support our battery manufacturing operations through data-driven insights. This role will focus on developing dashboards, organizing and analyzing quality and manufacturing data, and identifying trends that drive continuous improvement in product quality, process stability, and operational performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with experience in manufacturing and quality systems.
This position is fully onsite at our Windsor, Ontario manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to support manufacturing, quality, and leadership decision-making
- Collect, organize, and manage quality and production data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential root causes related to quality, yield, scrap, and process performance
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities using structured quality methodologies
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations
- Standardize reporting processes and improve data visualization and data governance practices
- Support ad-hoc analysis and special data-driven projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and transformation
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, managing, and validating large datasets
- Experience analyzing structured datasets and translating data into actionable insights
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Windsor, Ontario
Preferred / Asset Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related technical or analytical discipline
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and/or battery manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies, such as:
- 8D
- DMAIC
- Reactive Problem Solving
- Six Sigma
- Experience using Spotfire
- Experience developing tools or automation using Excel VBA
- Ability to speak Korean

- Proven ability to handle large data sets, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience supporting data migrations and data transformations across systems and platforms
